The Hungarian scientific community involved in solar-terrestrial research has a broad range of interest covering the phenomena from the solar interior until the heliopause. The list below contains the names of institutes and scientists interested in this field. Solar-terrestrial physics is a fairly interdisciplinary field of science so the SCOSTEP wants to provide a forum for colleagues from institutes of fairly different profiles. The regular national meeting of the community is the Ionospheric-Magnetospheric Seminars which are mostly held in Hungarian language, but sometimes with the participation of foreign colleagues. The last seminar was held in Tihany, 2002, the next one will be held in Debrecen, 2004.
