Data base and tool for studying of active region

magnetic configuration and positions of solar flares

Gyenge, N., Korsós, M. B., Baranyi, T., Ludmány, A.

This combined data base and tool has been created in the frame of eHEROES project (EU FP7/Cooperation/Space/2013.03-2015.02). The presentation uses the data of SOHO/MDI Debrecen Data (SDD) and SDO/HMI Debrecen Data (HMIDD) sunspot catalogue, the SOHO/MDI, SOHO/EIT, SDO/HMI, SDO/AIA images, GOES and RHESSI solar flare data bases. This table contains the sunspot groups selected to be studied from the point of view of possible photospheric flare precursors. The evolution of sunspot groups and positions of solar flares are animated to track the pre-flare dynamics of active regions with ~1-1.5 hour time resolution (depending on the availability of the data).

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2012-2015) under grant agreement No. 284461.This database contain flare datas from Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (RHESSI) satellites. The MDI data are available by courtesy of the SOHO/MDI research group at Stanford University. The EIT images are available by courtesy of the SOHO EIT Consortium. Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) is a mission of international cooperation between ESA and NASA. The GOES "X-ray Flare" dataset was prepared by and made available through the NOAA National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC).
